The Beginning of Marketing...

The dreaded phrase for most introverts... Marketing. It may be scary, however, it is highly recommended.

Questions to ask your business:

- What is my demographic?

- What platform do they use?

- How do I reach out to my demographic?

- What do they like?

- What is my competition doing, each direct and indirect?

Don't focus on the number of subscribers or followers you may have, focus on the connections you make first, then expand. Create a connection with your demographic, try and get them involved, and develop the network with your business.

For example, an equestrian store promoting Western and English apparel specifically for showing. The demographic that the store will be targeting are equestrians, prominently women, that are into showing their equine during the summer timeframe. The planning would be during the winter to prepare for the upcoming buy season. Plans can change as we all know from the year 2020, so be ready to think quickly for any changes that may come your way.

Another tip is the age-old quote of "have to spend money to make money." This doesn't mean you have to spend your whole bank account, but put some skin in the game with the game. Make sure you do your due diligence before you purchase an item or program. If they offer a trial, try it out.

The video below talks about overcoming fear and putting your business out there!

In Conclusion...

There is no secret recipe in creating a marketing program until you create it and tweak it consistently. Be prepared to spend some money at some point but before you jump into one thing test the trials of different programs.
