3 Benefits of Customer Satisfaction

When starting a business, we have to identify our target audience. As we build the business and gain more customers, potential customers look for previous customer satisfaction ratings. High customer satisfaction can have a great financial impact on a business.

When your business is at a point where you start having repeat customers, you get a sigh of relief.

The repeat customers, or regulars, help decrease the negative word of mouth and decrease the costs of retaining customers. They may not necessarily be the greatest revenue resource but bring a positive feeling to your business, for example, you are a trainer and you have this one person who wants to learn how to ride.

You can provide all the equipment, equine, and knowledge for that person and they had a wonderful experience. Most likely, people will tell their friends, opening up the possibility of creating a group lesson for more revenue.

Having happy customers could help you stand out from your competition. If your competition doesn't have a great track record and you show that you care more, there is a higher chance that the customers will be running to your business to spend their money.

For example, the equine facility down the road from you decides their clients have to store their own hay because they are tired of having mice problems. They give notice to the customers and the boarding costs stay the same for them.

You, on the other hand, will store the hay and charge less. Then your potential customers come sweeping in saying, “Store the hay and equine where I'm at, no mice problem, and the boarding price is $50 less than the other place with the same care and amenities? Of course!”' This is a great way to get new clients with little to no cost. By doing certain things to stand out from the competitor you stand to draw in more clients.

Create an environment that makes people say “Wow I want to be there!”' Now, this project/objective can be extremely difficult but if you work at it every day it may just get better and better.

Make your customers as happy as possible, just remember it is nearly impossible to make everyone happy though.

In Conclusion…

Building a business than gaining customers can be time-consuming, but satisfied customers, may come back and tell others about your business, saving money with customer retention costs and new advertising. Over time this will bring more and more customers allowing the business to expand.
